Ladies who have taken Clomid and became pregnant- question for you
What was the dosage amount you took when you finally became pregnant, and how many cycles did it take?
Bc I had no reaction to the 100mg, my RE wants to bump me up to 200. Part of me is thinking I may overstimulate and he said if there are more than 3 mature follicles he isn't comfortable going ahead with the IUI. But I can't help but be excited that this may do the trick! Just looking for some feedback. Thanks

my first cycle i took 50mg, and it did nothing. the second cycle i took 100mg and nothing....and then the third cycle i did 150mg and that did the trick!

Crashing. 50mg = nothing, 100= nothing, 150= follicle dev but small ones. 200 = 1st dd in 2010. Than another 200 = 2nd dd in 2012. My first dd took 3 cycles and an iui. My 2nd dd was conceived on my first clomid/iui cycle.

First cycle I did 100mg and ended up with 9 mature follicles (OUCH). After that the RE bumped me down to 50 mg, 3 days= I did this for 8 cycles before getting pregnant.

I also started with 100 and moved down to 50 but TI did not work for us, our 2nd IUI worked.

I did 100mg and the 2nd cycle i got pregnant and did an IUI back to back 2 days in a row and bingo.

50mg- blighted ovum. next cycle was on femara ( no result though). i have my DS from injectable back to back IUIs.
I see no point in taking 200 mg of clomid. i would move on to femara or injectables. i wish i skipped femara, all it gave me horrible migraines and result worse than on clomid.
