Landscape architect
Our backyard is a blank slate. We had about 15-20 trees and a whole bunch of overgrown scraggly bushes removed. We had a semi-inground pool installed and a new white PVC fence. We also had the yard graded, so that it is completely flat. The grass is just starting to grow in, but we have nothing else - no flowers, tress, bushes, etc. I have NO CLUE where to begin. Is this something a landscape architect does? Do they just give you a design/layout and you have someone else do the planting? Is this something I can do now, our would it be better to wait until next Spring (planting)? Any ideas of about how much a landscape architect charges? (We need help in the front yard too - took a bunch of tress and bushes out there too and so there's pretty much nothing there, either. The property is just over 1/3 of an acre).
Thanks!

Re: Landscape architect
My landscaper did that all that for us. But he didn't plan it out per se. He just looked at our blank canvas and knew what would look right and we told him sort of what we like...he was beyond amazing,I have pics in my album...he claims now is the best time to plant, and price wise I know he's slowing down bc it's the end of the summer. I'd recommend him to anyone he's been doing this for 40 years and just has the eye...
