Landscaping question
I have over an acre of land, with very little grass coming in. The guy we were using last year to do the grass was very reasonable. (40 per cut). He quoted us $175 for seeding and fertilizer.
Two questions:
1. Does this sound right
2. Will this help the grass grow?

My DH handles the lawn maintenance (dealing with the services) and he said $175 sounds cheap.
FWIW, we have a company that comes 6-8x a year for seeding & fertilizer.
As for grass not coming in, is it your whole lawn? or just certain areas?

THANKS! It is mostly just certain areas that it is not coming in at all, but coming in very little and not green at all in other spots! (its new construction so I think that's why)

THANKS! It is mostly just certain areas that it is not coming in at all, but coming in very little and not green at all in other spots! (its new construction so I think that's why)
We recently hydroseeded our front yard because of construction in Spring '08 and our service comes in and aerates the lawn and then they slitseed it.
