Lap band???

Is there anyone out there that had the lap band- what do you like or dis like about having the band- was it the best thing you ever did??

I have a friend who did it and lost 70+ lbs. However, she did gain a lot of it back- "slow grazing" throughout the day.

She now lost all of it again on her own, through healthy eating. She says that band definitely helps but she also had to consciously change the way she looked at food and the way she ate.
