I did it 6 years ago and it really was the best $4k I ever spent ---
And I had some bad complications, too. Chat Icon

First, I couldn't see anything for nearly three days after the procedure. Both my parents had it done and they both saw perfectly within an hour or two of having the procedure, so I was a nervous wreck when I still only saw shadows for those three days....

Then, they discovered I sleep with my eyes slightly open, which meant the incisions didn't heal nearly as quickly as they should have because my eyes were constantly drying out. I needed them to put contact lense 'bandages' over the incisions for about two weeks after the procedure until they healed properly. AFter the bandages were removed, I still had to use very thick eye drops every night to help keep my eyes sealed/closed so healing could occur.

I had night halos for almost a full month afterwards, but they improved dramatically at the one-month mark.

I have zero problems now and can't imagine what my pre-Lasik life was like! Chat Icon
