lasik vs. prk eye surgery

anyone had one that wants to add an opinion? or anyone want to just help me figure this out?!

i just visited the stahl eye center...im torn between which one to do.

prk leaves you uncomfortable for a few days/week, has like a 1 in a million shot of your eyes warping back, and is app.1600 per eye...

lasik gives you 20/20 the next day, no dicomfort, 1 in 20,000 chance of eyes warping back, and is 1900 per eye...

hmm...

I would definitely go for the lasik. peabody on here had prk (you may be able to do a search and see some of her posts about it) and was in horrendous pain for weeks...And is now wearing glasses again because it did not work well. I would definitely go for the pain-free lasik.

I had lasik and it is the BEST THING EVER

A friend did PRK and had a lot of trouble... even had to go back and get another procedure.

DH had lasik with Stahl and was (and still is) thrilled with the results! He said it was worth every penny.
