Last disney question PROMISE!! RE: Departure day and time needed for travel
On the day we leave disney to go home we have a 12:10pm flight. We are staying on disney property. I am assuming we wont have time to do a breakfast somewhere that morning??? How much time do you need to allow to arrive at the airport as they request 2 hrs ahead of time?

You can do an early breakfast like at 8am in your resort.
you can check your carryi ons with the bellhop and they will put it on the bus for you or u can pick it up before u get on the bus If ur flight is at 12:10 you won't be leaving no later than 9 bc it takes about 45 min with the bus and they want u there 2 he's before your flight leaves
Hth!

If you are taking the Disney run Magical Express, they will pick you up 3 hours before your flight so you'll need to be at the pickup area about 10-15 minutes before that.
If you are driving or taking a taxi, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport so you could leave approx 2.5 hours before your flight time.

Are you doing magical express? They pick you up 3 hours before your flight (so around 9am). You could do a breakfast but you would want to do it at like 730am- if it is say at your hotel.

Where are you staying again? You would have to do it early. Especially because I assume you will want to also do baggage check in, and then get there a few minutes before ME leaves. It isn't necessarily 3 hours early sometimes it is a few minutes earlier or later - but they do their best to make it approx 3 hours ahead. I wouldn't try to go to a different resort to eat though - that can take a long time because you would have to go to a park and then transfer to that resorts bus.

It's about 3 hours ahead (bummer, I know).
I usually try to take the latest flight on Departure Day.
If your airline allows, you can actually check your checked baggage right at the hotel and get your boarding passes. I'd have one person do that super early, and grab some breakfast at the hotel.
You'll also be getting the airport early for your flight (maybe, MCO security is awful and slow), so you can grab a bite there.
You can also get a breakfast you can pack up to go and eat it at the airport or on the plane. I am usually still working on some custom creations from Goofy's Candy Co at that point

Thanks everyone!
I was thinking of seeing if we can make a later flight.
Also would you recommend doing the norweign princesss dinner if we are doing the royal table the day before? Is it too redundant?

At Cinderella's Royal Table you'll meet Cinderella downstairs, have your picture taken with her, then see 4 other Princesses upstairs for pics and autographs. They vary but think Ariel, Belle (provincial dress), Jasmine, Snow White, sometimes Mulan or Mary Poppins. You'll have a wish ceremony and you order from a menu, staying seated the entire meal.
At Akershus you'll be greeted by a Princess, usually Belle in her yellow ballgown, do pictures and autographs, then meet 4 other Princesses who come to your table for more pics and autographs. Usually Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, and Cinderella but sometimes Snow White, Mulan, etc. Cold foods are on the buffet, hot foods are served family-style (breakfast) and by menu (later in the day). There's a Princess Parade where your little ones can join the Princess nearby and walk around the restaurant with her. They love it!
My daughter (9) loves Princesses and would happily do both every time we go but her preference is Akershus and we like breakfast best.

I've done both, but never in the same trip. We alternate. It WOULD be redundant, but your DD might love it anyway.
Have you considered Crystal Palace? I've heard that's one of the best and has great interactions with the Pooh characters. It'll also help get more characters out of the way in terms of pics and autograph books.
If you do both, you could mention to the Princesses "Oh it's so nice to see you again, we had a great time at the castle yesterday" so the Princesses will hopefully pick up on it and "remember" DD

Holy character overload, batman! How about the Ohana breakfast?
She'll love her double princess whammy! Meeting the Princesses is always a highlight of my trip.
Our Dec trip was for our honeymoon: Snow White asked me if I wished for DH in a Wishing Well Aurora asked if DH won my heart by slaying a dragon.
