Last minute Christmas breakfast recipe needed
My parents will be coming over for christmas morning and I kept putting off finding a good recipe to make.
Anyone have a great breakfast/brunch recipe that they can share?

Re: Last minute Christmas breakfast recipe needed
There's a baked french toast recipe thread I was just reading here yesterday. Everyone seems to be raving about it. I might be trying it Christmas morning.

Re: Last minute Christmas breakfast recipe needed
I'm planning on making a Panetone French Toast.
I saw it on Giada's christmas special and it looked yummy.
She made a brown sugar syrup but I might just use regular.
I am going to try making the Panetone too
Other ideas: -breakfast pizza - use cresent rolls as crust, top with eggs, cooked bacon, hash browns and bake
-Pancakes - you can buy fun molds at Crate+Barrel or add Fruit/Choc Chips
-Quiche - make ahead to make it easier the morning of the big day
-Huervos Rancheros (Eggs, Beans, Tortillas, Salsa + Cheese)
-Cinnamon Bread or Cinnamon Rolls with fruit

I make panettone french toast every year. It's really easy and yummy. I pair it with maple glazed bacon and a simple egg dish.

I was going to suggest baked french toast. Or quiches. Super easy and yummy.
I usually make: -Spinach, sausage and feta quiche -Ham and cheese quiche -Asparagus, bacon and swiss quiche
yummy and easy!
