Last night I jumped out of bed...

The home alarm went off at 3am and I jumped straight up and then leaped out of bed....big no no and big mistake. Chat Icon I went to the bathroom (my usual hangout) and had to call DH to help me back to bed because I felt like I was going to faint. I realize it's all because I jumped up too fast and got light headed...but I am worried:

Is it okay that I jumped straight up - would it hurt the baby in any way?

no it wont' hurt the baby, he/she is all snuggled up in there and cozy.

The only person who suffers from fast movements are the mommies, be careful, you could faint/pass out easily

Thanks for making me feel better. So weird to feel that way...I mean I've moved to fast before being pregnant and would get a little lightheaded but never to the point where I felt like I was going to faint...scary. Chat Icon

But as long as the little munchkinis okay I am okay. Whew...thanks! Chat Icon

Ang...heres prob what happen... I was just reading this on my weekly updates on babycenter.

Your cardiovascular system is undergoing dramatic changes, and during your second trimester your blood pressure is probably lower than usual. Don't spring up too fast from a lying or a sitting position or you might feel a little dizzy.

Now you know not to do that... hang in there hun!
