Late 3rd trimester ladies who are still working!!

How are you all doing it?

I have 6 days until my EDD & honestly I think I finally had the straw break the camels back this morning! I woke up extremely late & then when I got out of bed, my legs were aching & numb. I started to cry immediately bc my stomach was as hard as a rock (no contraction though) & I managed to get dressed & get to my office only 30 minutes late.

I am sitting at my desk wondering if this was my body's way of saying ENOUGH ALREADY! I am debating working 1/2 the day & telling my boss I can't do it anymore. I am so torn though as I wanted to remain working until delivery for $$ purposes plus my job has YET to hire someone to cover me when I am gone. Why do I feel guilty?

Don't feel guilty, you have trooped it this long I think that you should call it quits. You have been there a long time & I am sure your boss will understand. Technically-this is the end of your pregnancy, you should spend these last few days relaxing with your feet up! If they haven't found a replacement to cover you its not your worry-they have had long enough.

my last day or work is Tuesday

my disability policy covers me for 2 weeks off prior to birth
