Late October/early November Mommies-question about work!!
Okay...now that the time is winding down and I am becoming increasingly more uncomfortable with every passing moment, my optimism about working up to the very end is diminishing, and very quickly. Since I work in Manhattan a few days, my DH and family are seriously getting on my case about stopping work shortly. Fortunately, money is not an issue, and neither is using time with work, so my question is when should I stop working? I was thinking on playing by ear based on my weekly appointments, which begin this Thursday at a little over 36 weeks...
what would you do and when do you plan on stopping work???

I would stop at least 2 weeks before your due date I stopped 2 weeks before mine because walking around at 3cm dilated has been no pickle

Re: Late October/early November Mommies-question about work!!
I'm a December mommy and was wondering the same thing about when I would stop working...I hate the commute into Penn and the thought of being all bundled up in December and the crowds of tourist in midtown makes me want to scream...so I was thinking anywhere between 36-the end...I'm also going to play it by ear....

You ladies deserve an
I am 29 weeks and I can't take it anymore. Between my knees kililing me, my pregnancy carpel tunnel, my swollen feet. I'm just annoyed!!!
The next time I go to the doctor, which is next week....I'll be 30 weeks. I'm going to discuss when I am going out.
My feet kill me after work. I have to stand too long.

I would also say around 38 weeks. I am also hoping to go until the end but I don't have to commute into Manhattan by train (I drive to work).
Definitely play it by ear. You deserve to relax.

Re: Late October/early November Mommies-question about work!!
Sounds like we are in a similar situation with work. I'm going on 32 weeks this week and already feeling like I will only be able to keep this up another month. We plan on having me work up until Oct 31st at which point I'll be 36 weeks. DH said anytime I want to stop now I can. My family is on me about when my last day will be (I have an hour commute each way).
I say you stop whenever you feel comfortable enough to since fortunately you have that option.
