Late Ovulation?

Since having dd my cycles are anywhere from 26 to 34 days. I got my positive opk on cd21. I feel like this is really late. Just looking for some reassurance and hoping for a bfp.

it could be a luteal phase issue. you can speak to your doctor. i took some advice from posters on here and started taking a b6 vitamin and got my bfp that month

Late Ovulation?

If your cycle is 34 or 35 days, ovulating that late is not necessarily a problem. I think you need 12-14 days after o to allow for implantation. Just keep track of your cycles and if your luteal phase is consistently in the 10-11 day range speak to your doctor.

Late Ovulation?

Thanks. This is my first month using opk this time around so I was surprised that it was so late in my cycle. I'm just hoping I still have a chance.

Late Ovulation?

My doctor at the time said my 7-8 day luteal phase was fine and that I could still get pregnant. I didn't understand how that was possible so I started taking B-Complex supplements and got pregnant the next month. I have since switched doctors and maybe she was right but I didn't want to take my chances--it obviously worked out for me.

Late Ovulation?

I guess my late ovulation wasn't a problem bc I got a BFP! Now I'm wondering how to calculate my due date. If I use the calculators available online the the date changes by a week if I use my LMP or my ovulation date. Any idea which one I should be going by?

Yay!! For me, I used ovulation date and when I had my first appointment, the doctor confirmed that my timing was right. If I had based it off my LMP, I would have been 4 or so days ahead but the U/S obviously didn't reflect that.
