Laundry Detergent
What laundry detergent are you planning on using for thr babies clothes?
I know Dreft is one kind for babies but it is so expensive, does any one know cheaper alternatives?

Re: Laundry Detergent
I've been using Purex free and clear (or something like that) on our clothes lately. I may try the All one too at some point.

Re: Laundry Detergent
I was told by my lamaze teacher, (who was a nurse also) that you can use any kind of detergent as long as it doesnt have any perfumes, dyes, fabric softner in it and as long as it doesnt take away the fire retardent off the cloths.. You can check the label about if it effects the fire retardent.

Re: Laundry Detergent
I have been using the Target version of Dfreft. Smells the same but is a lot cheaper.

Re: Laundry Detergent
Dreft...I buy the big one in BJ's. You can also use Ivory Sno or any detergent that is "free" (i.e. Tide Free, ALL Free, etc)

Re: Laundry Detergent
All free & clear or other similar detergents. It's cheaper & I can use it on all of our clothes. Kmart had it on sale for $3.50 this week.

Re: Laundry Detergent
I used Dreft for about 14 months and then switched to Seventh Generation. They also now sell a baby detergent.
