layoffs
two of my friends were just laid off. I'm sick for them. One of them really can't afford to be without even one paycheck.

I hear you. DH has been looking for a job for 3 months and nothing. Atleast he is on umemployment.
Your friend can apply for unemployment while looking so she has income coming in. I know it isn't much but it is something.

Thanks so much. He actually went for another interview this week and we are hoping this one works out. No one else is calling :(

It's so scary out there. That's why I updated my resume. I want to be prepared.

Layoffs sux... I just got laid off myself today and know of several people close to me who are also laid off recently or will be... :P
This economy really stinks!

So far, I'm ok and I've been storing my nuts so to speak. I know in my field anything can go wrong.
I'm sending positive vibes to everyone. Maybe the laws of attraction will help.
