Leapster vs. Leapster2 vs. DS
Which hand held gaming system would you recommend for my 3yo DS for Hanukah and why? I have seen these 3 gaming systems in action and they all seem pretty similar but why should I choose one over the other (or any other for that matter). Thanks!

I don't know the difference between the Leapster & Leapster 2, but my 7 year old has the Leapster and the DS. I definitely would not recommend getting a DS before the age of 5-6. My DD got hers for Xmas last year and loves it, but even she gets rough with it. At least with the Leapster, it can handle being roughed up a bit.

Good advice, thanks. If it is geared for older kids then they probably don't even have any games for the younger ones!
