I hate that song so MUCH.... it just is horrendous.
I also hate that stupid donkey song
And as the OP stated- Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time is enough to make me want to poke my eardrums out.
And grandma got run over by a reindeer is a whole new level of suckiness as well...
Honestly- there aren't many Christmas songs I like...just not a big fan...

Its such a sad song.
It came out the same year my mother passed away at christmas time.
It still can bring me to tears everytime.
ITs sucha stupid song. i can not change the station fast enough.

I love Last Christmas--even though it is a jilted lover song masquerading as a Christmas song.
I think I am the only person that likes A Wonderful Christmastime. I love it's cheesiness-its' sounds like it was written after a few too many egg nogs.
No one else hates Happy Christmas ( War is Over) by John Lennonn? My DH get so angry every time that song comes on!
And for the record, I totally hate the Christmas Shoes as well.

Yes, I have a special hate for Happy Christmas, especially due to the fact that you can hear Yoko wailing during the chorus. I don't like Christmas songs that try to make me feel guilty, which include:
-My Grown up Christmas List
-Christmas Shoes
-That f-ing Band-Aid song (with Bono thanking God it's them instead of us- um what?)

I also cannot STAND that song!!!! I used to work in retail and even though it's been several years, the thought of that holiday cd playing that song several times a day for over a month

My husband is convinced that it is not sad at all-he believes the kid is running a scam & just wants free shoes to sell on Ebay.
An d just when you thought Happy Christmas couldn't get worse than screeching Yoko. . .last night I heard a Celine Dion version of that song on the Sounds of the Season channel on cable.

Christmas shoes, and I think only b/c I know if I listen it will make me want to cry. I like my Christmas songs cheesy and unrealistically upbeat, no tiny tim stories for me please
