Leaving for Cali on Friday - traveling with baby tips please!
We ar flying Jet Blue Out flight is at 9am
If you didnt get your baby a seat, sis you ask at the gate if they had extra seats you could move to? Please explain
Also, I should gate check my stroller and car seat, right? Im just rbinging his car seat and the snap n go, so its not too big. What do they do with it after I gate check it? Will it be in the walkway of the plane right when I get off?
Im just afraid how Seamus will be - its a 5 hour flight, so I hope he will be good!!

we just went to florida - DS was 4.5 months old. We flew southwest so there are no assigned seats. The flight wa snot full so they said we could bring the carseat on, but we decided not to. We gate checked his travel system (stroller and car seat). When we got off the plane it was waiting in the hallway.

Actually I think you are probably going at the perfect time age wise. We just got back from Vacation (without DS_) But met a few couples who were flying 4+ Hours with their DC and all said at that age under 5 months it wasn’t bad as they slept and ate. My DS is almost 11 months and I can’t imagine trying to fly with him for 4 hours, I can’t get him to sit still for 5 minutes!!!

Re: Leaving for Cali on Friday - traveling with baby tips please!
Under 5 months was the best time to fly- we took my DD who was 3 months to NY from Cali and they only knew she was on the plane since our stewardess made a special announcement that it was her first flight She brought a bottle of champagne from first class too. It was really sweet.
But definately bring the car seat and snap and go to the gate. They did lose ours but gave us a loaner to use to get to my parents house. But its still worth checking at the gate.
All they do at this age is sleep and eat. I miss traveling like that
