Leaving for WDW with Ds for the first time on thursday any last minute tips or ideas!

On thursday we are driving down to WDW we figure it should take about 5 hours and staying until Monday!

We are staying at Shades of Green on WDW property and have 1 day park hoppers and then free admission to Sea World. We plan on making it a pretty laid back trip since we know DS will probably only really enjoy the Magic Kingdom and well I'll be 23 weeks pregnant.

We might get a nanny for 4 hours over the weekend any tips for what Dh and I should do?

John loved magic kingdom. Try to check out MGM, there were a lot of charactors that John loved (lil einsteins, Jojo, Monster Inc.). Have a great time!

If you can get reservations at a restaurant around the time of the fireworks that is great to watch.

We also took the train in the front right to toon town and started there, since we spent most of the time in Toon Town and then in Fantasyland, and it saved walking the entire park. Also if you get their early most people will start in the front.

Last time we were there, we never even went to Frontierland and went on the cars in Future World and BUzz Lightyear, so I would even skip these unless you have the time.

Have fun!! I have no advice for the actual visit but for the trip, borrow a DVD player if you dont already have one. Lots of snacks and toys for the car that dont have too many pieces for DC to drop and for you to need to search for. Also, if yyour son is PT'd and you dont have a portable potty seat for the car, get one. It flips open and costs about $10. Comes with insert bags. I have a DD so its especially great but for emergency poops, it's priceless for both genders.

Dh really needs this trip and we can't wait to go. It's going to be a real laid back trip since we are just happy Dh got some time off and actually is home for it.
DVD player is already in my Escape :)
I'm loaded up on Capri Sun's and snacks for at our hotel and I went out and bought a brand new stroller just for the trip that DS seems to adore and its sturdy, has a snack and drink tray for him and us :) and I went and got a small misty mate for me or Ds in case we get overheated but honestly were pretty used to this heat since were already in Florida.

I'll be back with plenty of pictures next week!
