I guess I am both, though I call myself a left, b/c I write with my left hand.
I can only do finer motor coordination skill things with my left...write, eat...etc.
all sport related activities I do with my right hand/side...though this also be the reason I don't do any of those things well 
I do use both hands to put on eye makeup (left for left eye, right for right eye)

Both. But I was forced to write with my right hand. As a result I had AWFUL handwriting until I was about 16

I write with my right hand HOWEVER I do everything else lefty...
When I was younger and learned how to hold a pencil or a crayon I ALWAYS picked it up with my left hand to write with - my father would always take it out of my left hand and place into my right - for some unknown reason he wanted me to learn with my right hand...not sure why

this is also what happened to me, but in my case it was not just my parents, it was also my earliest teachers. There is an old stigma of lefties not learning at the same rate as righties, and I went through some very traditional schooling

Same here! Some things I can only do left handed and some I can only do right handed.
