Help me!!!!
So I am going on a cruise in a few weeks w my family Obviously most my time will be bathing my 10 month old son, no time to spend my hairy legs
Any suggestions on how to survive the pain of a wax?

Leg wax
I did it for my wedding I say breathe through the pain- go to a good place like European wax center (I didn't get one in grown hair!) and bring a wash cloth to bite down on. Leave your leg hair a bit long it makes it a little easier. I don't regret it At all. It lasted me about 6 weeks!!!

I want to do this for my next trip. How long should the leg hair be?

Re: Leg wax
I actually did it myself at home before going on a cruise due to shaving being impossible in the tiny showers. It took a little over an hour and wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I read the directions carefully over and over, as well as read online reviews that gave tips. I researched which brands were best rated, although I forget which I used. I let it grow in probably 3 weeks, I wanted to make sure it was long enough.
I would do it regularly but I can't understand how people deal with letting their legs get THAT hairy on a regular basis. In the winter it's one thing but how can you do that in the summer???

Re: Leg wax
I'm a big baby with pain but leg waxing never really bothered me. Go to a place that uses a good wax- a cream based hurts less.
I used to wax my own legs at home. The pain is over so fast after you pull.

Leg wax
I left my hair like 1/4 inch? Not too sure I left it for 2 weeks my leg hair grows quick and I usually need to shave every day in summer so I just gave it 2 weeks!

Leg wax
i get brazilian waxes and sometimes do my legs. IMO...maybe i have a high tolerance for pain...the leg doesn't hurt at all. its like someone is lightly scratching your leg.
i agree go to European Wax Center

Re: Leg wax
It's really not that bad. Take two painkillers 4o minutes before your appointment time. And make sure you go to someone who knows what they are doing. That's key.
