I'm not sure if there is anything else I can do.
Long story short. We had our carpets cleaned in July, they did a HORRIBLE job. I complained. They sent the guy back and he was nasty and still didn't get anything clean. They look the same as if I vaccuumed them. It wasn't big stains, just normal stuff.
Anyway I dispute with my CC when the manager basically keeps dodging my phone calls. CC refunds the money. Then sends us a letter we have to answer. Done. They send us another letter 2 months later saying we need another carpet cleaning company to come in and say that these people didn't do their job. How the $%^** am I supposed to get that letter 2 months after the fact?
Supervisor at CC says to explain all that in my response letter. So I do.
Fast forward to today another month later. I see the charge rebilled on my CC. Basically they say without that letter I have no dispute. I am furious!! Why is this not on their original dispute form? Their answer...It's not possible.
Do you think there is anything else I can do. I can't get a company to come in 3 months later and say the carpets weren't cleaned properly in July. Chat Icon Chat Icon
I am beyond furious with Capital One and I will be closing my account TODAY!
