Lego Land

Has anyone been to Lego land in FL????

We are going down to see my parents in late march and thinking about taking DS there instead of dealing with crowds at WDW (we have already been there with DS)

Re: Lego Land

We went and had a miserable time. I was really surprised how much my kids did not enjoy it since they absolutely LOVE the lego store in downtown Disney. My 4yo son did not want to ride the larger attractions and really wanted to play with the legos. I don't know if our kids were just having an off day.

Maybe we are spoiled by Disney but everything at LEGOLAND seemed very inefficient in terms of getting lines through. It took FOREVER just to get into the park.

I read similar reviews about that the park not being very well run.

Re: Lego Land

We went to the one in California and had a great time. We got there when it opened at 8 am and left at 8 pm. We all had a fantastic time. I think it gets crowded by 11 am. As with any amusement park I think if you get there when they open and really plan your day you can have a lot of fun. I think if you wait to go to many of these large parks and get there after 11 am you will not have as good a time because there are just too many people in them.

Re: Lego Land

We went to LegoLand last March with our then 3 yo DS and we had a great time! The rides were fun and it wasn't too crowded. They had a cute water park. We actually went 2 days and enjoyed each time. DS wasn't into Legos at all so for us it was just all about the rides. The park is not huge like Disney but if you are going to be in the area, it's definitely worth it!

Lego Land

Thanks all. I think we are going to go. They are opening a new section spring 2014 so I am hoping that will be open then too.
