Let DD sleep?
DD is 5 and just finished Pre-K. They had an hour nap in Pre-K but will not have a nap in kindergarten.
I still let her get a nap on the weekends and she can easily sleep for 2 hours.
Should I start taking those out to prepare her for not having any naps in kindergarten?
Thanks

Re: Let DD sleep?
Sounds like my DD (4). This past year in nursery school they did have a nap, but now she is enrolled in a summer camp where they do not take naps. The first few days were rough for her but she ended up adjusting by the end of the week. If you want you can start next month in not letting her nap to see how she does.

Let DD sleep?
My DD took naps until the Summer before she started Kindergarten. We stopped them to get her prepared for the long day. I would stop them now so she has time to adjust.

Let DD sleep?
I would stop them and get her prepared. If not it could make for a bad first fee weeks of school

My son naps at PreK but not over the weekends. He can do no nap and function fine. I just move up bedtime to help compensate for the missing nap. If your daughter can function with no nap, I’d just keep doing what you’re doing.
