Lets share some nice stories
about LIF/LIW connections.
I have a few- but most recently I was having trouble finding something at work and I FM'd Bxgell- and she sent me something incredibly helpful! Thank you!!
Also I can't thank Barb enough for the pictures she took of my daughter and my neice. They are amazing. In fact my sister told me today she is using one as her holiday card.
ETA: SORRY. My computer sent the post before I had a chance to finish.
Also: Definitely the pregnancy and parenting advice. I don't have too many friends with kids yet and its great to get different ideas and perspectives.

I have gotten GREAT parenting advice on here. And I cannot tell everyone how helpful the were when I was thinking about quitting my job...
The fundraiser also blew me away.
Besides the usual entertainment and banter, I really do love coming here

Wow, where to start. I have known a lot of you for quite sometime and it's get hard because I try to be friendly with everyone.
Everyone has made such a difference in my life.
Barbara has been great, she is truly talented.

I had a very difficult time during my pregnancy - and the women on here were extremely supportive.
I have gotten some great advice all around and this place can provide some great lighthearted humor

i joined LIW and didnt know a soul.
i had no one to help me plan my wedding.... even if it was just going to vegas.
LIW girls basically planned it for me!!! they taught me everything.
i love coming here now. i have friends on here... at least i think hteyre friends.
i come here for advice first thing. before asking anyone else.
i dont know what id do all day if i didnt have LIF!

I know Ive said this before, but through LIW I found a lifelong friend in diamondgrlie.
Ive also become close with some other ladies.
I cant tell you the priceless advice I received from this site (and LIW). I dont remember what I did before I knew it exsisted.

It's just amazing to witness how supportive everybody can be. Whether a person needs advice or has been through a terrible ordeal, the people on LIF are there with words of wisdom, hugs, and prayers. I have gotten tons of help when I have needed it and I got so much support when I went through my miscarriage.

I have not met anyone here in person nor do I know anyone personally:
I find it easiest to post our ttc/mc/infertility saga here and get some really helpful and sometimes heart warming advice.
I have also seen a group of people really come together and step up to some worthy causes here.

When I went through everything with my dad leaving, so many people were so supportive. Let's face it, a lot of people were not, but some people went above and beyond. One person's DH called me to help me get some financial ideas, so many people posted job ideas for me and my mom. Lots of people have been very supportive of the difficult decisions I've had to make like going back to school and postponing my wedding.
Some people have listened to me rant and rave over IM when I have having a problem and have given great advice and a shoulder to cry on.

I have made some great friends and an excellent support system on the Infertility Board.
There are far too many to name.
But in particular, karacg and dm24angel have ALWAYS been there to help me out with every crisis and talk me through things - even tell me when I'm being irrational and to take it down a notch.
There is nothing better than honest friends who will be there no matter what.
And I should also acknowlegde MrsBSD
who has been helping me on a private health issue and has given me hope.

ty amd it was all true... and with the holidys coming up my life is going to be hard once again and i NEED my girls and so does deb and alex(the other bride who lost her dh) and many others who are heading into the holiday season with not much. i turn to lif (i may not post much about how i am feeling) but because i reather help someone or post silly things to help me... it really hurts to see all this going on and i really pray it stops today and people realize what the true meaning of family is, i found one here and i do not want to loss it

I haven't been here that long, and haven't had difficult times like some of you, but the one time I was very upset about something, so many people helped and discussed it with me.
That should be the reason we are all here. To commune, talk, share, and enjoy each other's company.
I wish it could always be a welcoming place to come and talk with your friends. I know it's not a perfect world. But I like threads like this.
I hope to be able to make the kind of friends you all have over time.

Barb...She is the nicest woman...and takes the best pics. Plus she can sing Dora the Explorer wonderfully to my son.
MelTodd (Melissa)....She invited me to come over and play ( our kids, that is ), has included me in her mommy group and I think she is the best person ever. Plus she has an adorable daughter.
Smileyd (Deb)...She helped me out with my homeowners insurance. You rock!!!
Beena...she did my chirstmas photos last year...very talented.
BabyAvocado...she helped me out a while ago with something too...you're a lifesaver!!!
Shorty...for showing me how a true west indian gets down...
My mind is coming to a blank right now...I'm positive that there were plenty of people that help me everyday when I have a question...so thank you to all...

everyone's always awesome when i share my good news... or vent... theyre always there to either celebrate it, or offer their support.
i've met alot of great women here... honestly, whenever i leave a GTG, the next day, i still feel that 'happy' feeling, because its such a good time.
