I'll start....

Dd is 14 months old and talking almost as much as me

She puts 2 words together, can look through her books and name things...so cute.

I think she is a genius.

Sounds like she's doing great!

Michael is 26 months old...

He knows ALL of his letters and most of his numbers when he sees them.

Can draw a circle and a face WITH hair I might add

He knows ALL of the basic colors

He talks really well now and we can have a conversation over the telephone when I'm at work...

He understands Croatian, although doesn't speak it...

Umm... I think MY kid is a genius, lol!

Of course there is more, but I don't want to bore you guys with all of it! hehe - we're bragging here right?

my daughter is 5 months old and we were in barnes and noble yesterday, i gave her a book she opened it and was "reading" and trying to flip pages.

Uhh this is fun!

Well my DS started taking his first steps on his own when he was 9 months
Now that he is 10 months, he takes about 4 steps
Whenever he hears a song he knows, he hums to it. It is so cute!
He has been saying "mama" for about 2 months now

Can you tell how proud I am?!!!

DS is 23 months old.

He talks up a storm

he cant count to 6

knows how to work the DVD player

will help me sort out my groceries when I come home from shopping

Will vaccum with my dustbuster

will shut off the tv/lights when we leave a room

will remind us to put the alarm on before we leave or go to bed (he says Mommy buttons)

Will open a book and babble like he is reading and point out all the charactors

Yea I think my lil man is a genius too

Julia is smart too! (she's 19 months).

She knows 4 colors right now,( green, purple, yellow, orange) if I ask her to give me any one of those colors she will.

She is putting words together....ex: get down, that's mine, no more, my shoes, mama's shoes, dada shoes-lol

She tells me when she goes poops, and pee-pee, and we are tying to teach her the potty now.

That's some stuff for now!

Jenna is 29 months old:
she knows her ABC's and can recognize any letter in any order

can count to 20 without help, can count objects on a page

knows most shapes-circle, square, triangle, star, heart and diamond

knows basic colors-black, red, green, white, brown, blue, orange, yellow, purple and also knows gray and pink

puts together sentences easily

knows J is for Jenna, M is for mommy and D is for daddy

know left foot and right foot (thanks to dance school)

I love her!

Ava is 8 months old today, has been crawling since 5.5 months, pulling up since 6.5 months, cruising since about then, started standing on her own and says, Mama, Dada, Nana, Papa, woof woof, bye-bye and hi all appropriately


ETA: I forgot to add my favorite! When I say, "Let me smell your smelly feet, she lays down and puts her feet up to my face and laughs hysterically

My 5 month old can outdrool and outpoop any baby around!!!

Sorry...ok let me see....well, he hasn't rolled over yet so he gets no points there. He can sort of sit up for like 6 seconds before he falls over...ok those aren't helping either...

ummmm well i think he's pretty damn cute. I call him handsome all the time cause he looks like a little man.

I know there's a lot going on in his little mind-he looks at everything so alertly and like he's wondering what its for. So cute. I look forward to all the fun stuff to follow!

Joseph - 7 months old but according to the books should be considered 6 months developmentally because he was a preemie.
Ummmmmm he can set off heart monitors that makes the whole house RUN to him whenever he feels like it. He also has figured out how to pull the wires out to detach himself. Good Grief.

ummmmmm he can sit up all on his own for minutes at a time!

He can do AB exercises like nobody's business.

"sings" and bops his head along with music. He seems to LOVE u2

Deb, you are too funny...

Let's see, Syd is 11 months and doesn't say much but understands a lot!
She loves to dance and when I say "shake your booty", she does...
She claps, hugs and waves on commad.
Can point to mommy's nose, ears and tickle my toes.
Points to everything but just calls it Ga. Except the cats which she loves, hugs them and chases them all day and calls them CAAA.
Oh, she can get stuff I ask for, like Elmo and ball, etc.

Aly Paige is 13 months old and knows animals and their sounds:
tiger/lion: she makes a roar face
doggie: woof woof
chicken: buck buck (even when she's eating chicken)
duck: quack quack
cow: moooo
pig: oink oink (more of a face than a sound)

--all in her own versions of course.

She is starting with a fork...I stab the food, she feeds herself

She knows and points to mama and dada

She whistles (yea...like a real whistle) for the dogs when they are outside

she claps when I sing the ABC's to her

she knows her sesame street characters:
cookie monster
elmo
grover
bert & ernie
She knows pooh bear, tigger, and eyeore

She is putting things in containers or away....she'll put her squirt toys on the soap shelf in the tub
she can rub her lotion on her belly and legs if she feels like it
she helps me get her dressed

Oh..totally forgot that she knows some body parts:
tummy
ears
toes/feet
mouth
she'll point to your eyes & nose when you ask but not on herself

and she's giving out kisses like it's Valentine's everyday. even to the dogs!!

Hailey is 7 1/2 months...

She sat up on her own at 5 1/2 months, crawled at 6 1/2 months and is now pulling herself up in her crib and the coffee table.

She is and has been very alert for a long time. She is fresh to people when she wants nothing to do with them (great) and has learned to throw temper tantrems when she is told no (even better)

my son Colin is said to be the smartest kid in his SCHOOL DISTRICT!! with an IQ of 156!! he is also a Red belt in Karate.
my son Gavin is also very smart with an IQ of 135 and is the funniest kid i know
my son Spencer just learned how to say baby!! i know i know he is 15 months but hey...he'll catch up...AND he is just the cutest baby there is!!!
my DH is the sexiest man alive!!

My son is 4 weeks old today and is the master of spit up. I have never, ever done so much laundry!
He is starting to make eye contact and give little smiles (ok, maybe its gas, but, I like to say he is smiling).
His eyes are still blue..I they stay that color, I love it!!

Luca is 15 weeks and can cry longer than any other baby I know. He can also sit up on his own and can roll from his back onto his side and from his belly to his back- which he did for the first time when he was 3 weeks old.

Maeve is 8 weeks old in 2 days. She can smile, coo and say "ah-goo". Two weeks ago she started grabbing at objects on her changing table and under her gym. She also seems to like Justin Timberlake, so that gets her an "A" in my book.

Olivia will be 13 months old on the 19th she can do a lot
she knows her body parts
eats with a fork and spoon with help
can say
grandma, grandpa, papa, dada, mama, kitty kat, elmo, cookie, nana, square

can climb steps
is almost walking up to 13 steps today
she knows how to put her toys away
claps hands, blows kisses, knows to rub hands together when i wash her hands, says hi and bye. can turn the phone on and off

I know im probably forgetting stuff with my mommy brain!

Jacob is almost 14 months and doesnt talk at all!

He does say "uh ohhh" when i say it..
He will clap his hands if i start saying "clap your hands, clap your hands" in a sing song manner..

He rubs his hands together when i rub mine while I am applying lotion to his body.

He sticks his tongue out when i do.
He chases Kasey (the dog) when I say "get kasey."

Oh and I can finally report that at almost 14 months he is now holding his bottle.

He just started taking his first few steps this weekend. He may not talk much or know any shapes, body parts etc. But I find him to be thee most amazing little person on this earth!!!!

ETA: He will also start crawling away from me at lightening speed when i say "i'm gonna get you... u better run!"

Maddie is 5.5mths old and has been sitting on her own for about a month now. She can also poop all the way down to her toes and all the way up to her shoulders. She loves to screech and she just started blowing rasberries which allows her to soak a bib now in just minutes.

Kaitee is 6 months and 11 days old. She starting rolling everywhere at 4 1/2 months old. Thats also when she started holding her own bottle. She starting sitting "tripod" style at 3 1/2 months old and started sitting on her own 5 days shy of 5 months old. She started crawling at 6 months old. She started saying "dadada" at 5 1/2 months old. She has pulled herself up a couple of times, I know that in a few weeks she will be doing that all the time. She already pulls up on her kness all the time. Thats all I can think of right now.

Um, my son can seek out boxes at 50 paces and BEG to be put inside of them

He decided at 10.5 months that he was ready to walk, so he got up and walked.

He can grow hair faster than any of you.

He can't talk. He is completely indifferent to everything....ponies, cars, BUT Cats...well cats make him laugh like no ones business.

WOW it sounds like we have some pretty amazing kids on this site! YAY! I know it's due to the great parenting!!

Parker started sitting on her own a few days ago which was 2 weeks shy of 6 months. She also rolls both ways and rolls all over the house if I'm not watching her and just started playing peek-a-boo.

God I love that kid!
