I know you said Nassau, but Flo's in Blue Point has a great one. Barely any mayo, fresh herbs, big chunks of lobster that are actually recognizable as claws, tail, etc. It's on a toadted potato hot dog bun. They also have little chunks of cucumber in the mixture. So yummy!
FINALLY went today after 3 attemts (2 ruined by rain, one by a cranky kid).
It did have a lot of lobster meat and little mayo. I thought it had more celery than cucumber. It did have a lot of black pepper.
I wonder if it was real lobster or immatiation though- it was stuffed with lobster, came with fries and was only $12.50.
It's definitely real lobster.

Lets talk Lobster Rolls
I know this post is a little old, but Lukes Lobster Roll in NYC is amazing! They have a truck and locations throughout the city. We went to the UWS location on a whim a few weeks back and the roll was perfect! The best I've ever had outside of Maine.

I just sent another girl an fm about this. I saw Luke's on a morning news show and I'm dying to go!
