letting an indoor cat out (supervised)
the apartment I rent now is in a house
and the house has a nice- fenced in back yard
Pokey - his new name is pokey the expolor LOVES to go outside- and "poke" around- I always go with him and watch him closely
Maggie- so acts so tough - is really wimpy and just hangs out by the door- and get scared- so funny
do you think I need to get him flea and tick medicine? I never had an outdoor pet before- I just want to make sure he will be ok-
he cries at the door to be let out- I feel so bad he can't play out there all day- but I would never just let him hang out alone back there

If you're letting one of them out, then yes I would get flea and tick medication for both of them.

Yeah, the only thing I would worry about if they are supervised is the fleas...so yes, I'd get some flea/tick prevention. You don't want to have to treat an infestation after the fact...
