Level I sonogram tomorrow - question
Is that normally and external or internal sonogram?? I have a school meeting tomorrow night beforehand - if the sonogram is internal, I want to leave in enough time to shower and "freshen" up. If it's external, I won't be as freaked if I'm running late.

how many weeks are you? If you are past 10, I bet its only going to be external.

I am thinking the same...I would not worry about it. Its not the usual grossness you get from a gyno appt and they aren't going to look at you either. I had to hold the wand myself actually.

I'll be 9 weeks.
I just hate the thought of working and sweating all day, and then having that poor doctor down there, know what I mean??

mine wasn't down there. It was a sono tech..she put a drape over me, handed me the wand and we guided it together. Then she went to work on the keyboard...she never saw a thing.
good luck!

Have you had a PAP in the last year? They will do that at the first appoint too (not sure if you have gone already?)
I think that externals are not really useful until the 12th or so week
