level II worry....need advice please
I went for my level II last thursday. I thought everything was okay until I recieved a call at 8:30 last night from my ob's office telling my they found a "common isolated spot called a echogenic focus" on the baby's heart. They kept reassuring me there is nothing to worry about and they want me to go to a pediatric cardiologist to get a fetal echocardiogram. Has anyone expierence this before. I know they told me theres nothing to worry about but I am freaking out. some advice would help.
TIA

Re: level II worry....need advice please
A friend of mine, they had found a cyst on the brain at around the trim II and they just kept and eye on it and it eventually went away, so maybe its the same thing.. Just follow the doctors orders and try not to stress yourself out, b/c that will affect the baby...I know its hard not to worry.
Best Wishes...

I haven't, but really try not to worry too much until you go for the fetal echo. Everything might be just fine.
I know easier said than done, but really try not to worry.

Re: level II worry....need advice please
They saw a density on baby's heart at level II (can be a marker for downs) but as the weeks progressed it went away. It really is scary but you know what it usually is nothing. I hope in your case it is nothing

I have no experience with this but wanted to give you hugs. I am sure it will be ok if they said it was nothing to worry about.

Thank you for all your support. I went for my monthly visit and the OB reassured me.
