Did anyone do this "crazy" project?

I can't stand it this stuff in my kitchen anymore.

TIA

My friend did it. Her DH, who is a contractor, moved it to the garage (I think).

When I was looking a few years ago, I saw a few in the garages and even in an upstairs closet.

I personally would not recommend the upstairs closet, you have to install a pan and drain in case of leaks and also the venting issue.

That was one of the first things we did after we bought the house !! Although we actually converted to gas so we have a much smaller hot water heater in our garage instead of that big tank.

Do you mind sharing more details?

Do you have any pics?
