Levitt's cape question
Has anyone, or maybe your friend or relative, “renovated” Levitt’s house (cape, full second floor and storage in attic, no garage) concrete slab? As far as I heard it is pretty common, and it happened to me, that the slab which itself is floating has cracked around perimeter of the house and sunk 1-3 inches, depending on location. I had foundation experts, as well as structural engineers look at it and all confirmed that foundation itself is fine, so no danger here. I have researched and read about many fixes (jack hammer and pour new, pump underneath, add more concrete) I can try to apply. However, I am wondering if someone dealt with similar problem or maybe did anything to their slab when they did house renovation or so? If so what did you do and who did you use? Thank You for any suggestions.

Re: Levitt's cape question
We made a full 2nd floor and full attic to our cape. There were no issues with our slab though. We didn't go near it only to extend out the bag we poured additional concrete to create a foundation for the addition.
