Re: LI Wineries
feel free to name drop! The ice wine is really good. There wines are known to be the best on LI and the vineyard is one of the most technologically advanced and environmentally safe.

Re: LI Wineries
I like Paumanok- they have a well regarded riesling that many restaurants in NYC carry.
I'm not a huge fan of Pindar or Duckwalk (owned by same family).
Martha Clara is owned by the Entemen family (the ones that make the cakes)

Re: LI Wineries
Does anyone know if they have like buses or tours that you can take out there without having to drive yourself from winery to winery?

Re: LI Wineries
My bridesmaids and I did a wine tasting tour for my bachelorette party. They'd rented a limo (which was definitely nice, but somewhat out of place). We did south shore wineries. Channing Daughters were not very nice (they don't like "groups"- yes, that's exactly what they told us). At Duckwalk, the tastings are still free and the staff there are very knowledgable and friendly. We wound up going back to Duckwalk to sit outside and enjoy the live music.
