Light Blue for a Nursery if
it's a girl. What's your opinion? Anything wrong with that? Does it really matter?

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
I think pale blue can def. be feminine - I considered it for our nursery too.

My cousin created a beautiful light blue, cream, and white nursery for her daughter. The walls were white wainscotting with a cream walls above. Distressed white furniture, and blue toille bedding. It is beautiful!

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
our baby will have a blue nursery because DH and I dont feel like re-painting the room (we have a ton of house projects going on right now) But i am having a hard time finding blue girly bedding... im thinking of going white, but i am not sure if that is the best idea or not...

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
I LOVE blue so it wouldn't matter to me. We're actually on team and the car seat and stroller we picked is blue. We don't care. If we have a girl, we'll simply throw a pink blanket over her and there you go!
Oh and i also bought some onsies/pants that are blue. Even if i have a girl, she will be wearing blue.

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
I think its absolutely fine. There's nothing wrong with it. "Does it really matter?" All that really matters is your opinion and what you love! (JMO, I think it would be very cute, esp. with pink accents.)

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
Our nursery is pale blue. We painted it that color even before we knew what we were having for our first. We ended up having a boy, but the nursery was gender neutral (light blues and yellows).
When #2 came and it was DD, we kept it light blue and bought her bedding that was pale blue and green. It looks pretty.
ETA: This is the bedding and our walls are the same color blue:

If we were having a girl, her room would have been light blue. I picked out this bedding:

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
I would have no problem with it. You can still make a light blue room look very girly.

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
We aren't finding out and are planning on a mix of blues, creams, and soft sand colors. There are always ways to make the room feminine or masculine with decor.

Re: Light Blue for a Nursery if
I think light blue is so beautiful and tranquil. Since we didn't find out what is, the room will be a light pastel blue with bright white accents. I think it looks great for a boy or girl.
