Has anybody had a birthday party there? I was going to have one at a sports place for DS, but then saw a cheap groupon for this one. Is this place appropriate for a 6 year old? Kids from 4 - 6 really. Thanks!!

Re: Lil Builders
I have been there for open play with my then 6 year old and it was super cute. I'm sure the parties are great. If it's the Alldealslocal.com $199 deal, you seriously can't beat that price!

Oh great! We went there today for open play and it was cute! I wasn't sure if kids who didn't like Legos would have fun there though, but I'm gonna book it. Just have to find my coupon code for groupon!

Re: Lil Builders
I went to an open play there - I think, for what they do there, the age group you mentioned is just right (4-6) because my friend's son is five years old and he likes building and legos and that sort of thing -- this would be perfect for him. I actually think too young wouldn't work, like my son is fifteen months and he would have fun and explore anywhere but I don't think he would really "get into" the activities the way the 4-6 year olds would with building and playing. I'm sure the people who run it interact and guide the children at a party as well. Sounds like a great deal, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think it's babyish at all. My 7 year old 2nd grader is in the Lego Club at school and there are almost 30 kids in it. A lot of kids LOVE Legos.
