Limb stuck in crib bars, and using breathable bumpers?

DD is 13 months and this week has started I guess trying to climb out of crib. We have the breathable bumpers around her crib to prevent limbs from getting stuck in btwn bars, but now with the climbing shes been putting her leg over the bumper.

I put her down for nap and heared this horrible screaming, her leg was stuck inbtwn the bars. I had to do a Dukes Hazard move and jump over the crib bar and into the crib to get her our.. Pretty quick for a pregnant mom.. its amazing what aderanline can do to you...

Any way my question is now what do i do? Do i get another set of breathable bumpers and put above the ones that are there now to keep this from happening? I cant remove the set i have in there b/c she tends to kick like crazy and if bumpers not there her leg will get stuck again.

I would not go for another set of bumpers. She may have learned her lesson and not do it again
- you can hope right.

I would personally line floor with pillows.

she is probably going to break out. Mine started at 12 months...it was a really hard fall.

other babies have zero interest in climbing out.

I took breathable bumpers out.

Take the bumpers out & line the floor.

I didn't have climbers but I'd opt for a bed & a gate at the door.

I wouldnt do another set of bumpers b/c she'll just climb on them...which would probably put her higher up and make it easier to fall over and out. I'd take the bumpers out all together so she has nothing to "climb" on and unjam her as she gets stuck. Charlie's feet get stuck too...there's really not much you can do. I'm hoping eventually he'll learn how to get his own feet out.
