While we're on the subject of Laundry can anyone help me with a problem i'm having. I have these two while pillowcases that are like turning color and I can't get them brighter again. Yesterday I washed them with tide bleach...and still they didn't get any whiter.
What am i doing wrong here? am i washing them under the wrong kind of water. Should I do hot instead of warm...or should I do cold...please help...I love these pillowcases...
They have this stuff in the laundry aisle called "Yellow Out" ... try that. You put it in with the water and let it sit for 5 minutes then you wash as you normally would - maybe that will help.

I take my laundry to the laundry mat so I don't have the option to let it sit for a couple of minutes Can I just pour it in when the water starts to run?
That's where I screwed up...by putting them in the dryer on high...I still have a lot to learn about being domestic...LOL LOL LOL
