Liquid vs. Powder
Unfortunately, I find that my DD prefers liquid formula (Enfamil Lipil) What exactly is the difference? She seems to not spit up with it and burps so much better. Im not sure of the price difference, though I know there is one. Anyone else have this same experience?

Cost and consistency are really the only differences. RTF is much more expensive than powder.

I also find that the liquid is much thicker. My son always did better on the liquid, so we stuck with that.

DD likes the powder better, she does much better on it than the RTF.

Re: Liquid vs. Powder
honestly, give her RTF for at least a month. It is alot thicker then the powder. My dd weaned off of it eventually and went onto the powder. The RTF formula is much more expensive but I also found that she kept it down.

Re: Liquid vs. Powder
We don't really have a choice as the formula DS takes is only a powder.
But she may prefer it now, but she will take the powder. My DS was on regular Similac and when we switched to Gentlease he must have not liked the taste, so it took about 24 hours before he took it, but he takes it just fine now.
I personally wouldn't wait to switch her, or she may really be able to reject it. Unless there is some reason why she should be on the RTF, you really can switch her.

Re: Liquid vs. Powder
We tried both in the beginning but i found the powder made both my boys very gassy. When we switched to the RTF formula things got a lot better so we stuck with that. However, once we hit 6 months I would use powder now and then since it is cheaper.

Re: Liquid vs. Powder
we tried switching to powder but made Matthew constipated, we stuck with the RTU because I would rather pay the $$$ then have a miserable child. Plus it filled him up more than the powder.

Re: Liquid vs. Powder
Both my girls are on powdered doing/did just fine.
I like the powder better, you don't have to worry about cold formula or keeping it cold when out and about. Just bring water, mix when ready and baby has a room temp bottle. Plus powdered smells alot better to me than RTF going down and coming back up :)
