Lirr parking at lynbrook
Do you have to live in lynbrook to get a parking pass for the parking at the lirr? We will be living in Oceanside, but the schedule is not as good. Tia

I believe you do need to be a Lynbrook resident since it's an incorporated village.

You can park by Lynbrook library and feed the meters. It is a pain in the butt but that's what my father does. It is a quarter a half hour.

Yes, there is non resident parking. It's 4.00 per day, you pay at the large meter and get a tiny pass you can put on your dashboard for the day. I used to get there a bit after 6AM and didn't have any trouble, although the ticket machine can be a PITA.

You can purchase an annual pass for under the trestle but it's pricey (~$650 for the year, I think).
