was her name Ruth with a bun on top of her head...if so I had her today and it took 10 miuntes to ring up a belt and scan a coupon

wow that is annoying!
I had something similar happen last year...basically bought my sister teh northface denali, asked the manager if we could use the 25% off coupon and he said yes. Get to the register to find an ancient woman (who was VERY nasty) and she wouldnt even take the coupon! Im like can you at least try to scan it bc the manager said we could use it. She was yelling and being very rude so I went to get the manager and what do u kno, as soon as she scanned the coupon it worked (and a lot came off b/c those are expensive!) then the lady just laughed. Its things like that that make people hate holiday shopping

 HOnestly this isn't an isolated incident, Macy's customer service
has gone down the tubes completely. I sat and waited for a pair of shoes
for about 30 minutes the other night (there was one guy working)
finally when I asked him what happened he said oh i forgot to tell you
they didn't have your size, sorry!
