Re: Listen to what my husband's company is doing

my nephew is only 18 and is in Iraq. He is being sent to a very bad part of Bagdad in two weeks..
Believe it or not...he was shipped a stuffed monkey and it snowballed to everyone he was with wanting one.
They sleep with the stuffed animals for comfort, alot**of the servicemen are young he says and alot of them have absent families...
It breaks my heart.
Your dh's company ROCKS****

Isn't that great? I'm thinking cranberry almond biscotti will travel well.

wow---very nice!

look others said....when my BIL was out in Iraq---he was in dire need of toiletries. that is basically the #1 thing he wanted more than anything---razors, shaving gel/cream, soap, toilet paper, deodorant, etc.

magazines and books were great too

That's awesome.

I'd also send personal care items, books, magazines, and any other little luxuries that he may not be able to get there.
