Am I remembering something wrong, or did he almost have an affair with someone while he and Caroline were fighting? Like when he would go off somewhere to "get work"?
I think that was Mr Olsen.
Yes it was. Pa never cheated. Ma kinda almost did until Mary got rid of "uncle" Chris.

Uncle Chris was some "handyman" who showed up when Pa was away. Caroline had some odd jobs she needed to get done, so he did them in exchange for room and board. I don't think she ever would have cheated- Caroline was not like that!! But, they did seem to flirt a bit - and Mary did not like it AT ALL!!!

It on TV Land at 8pm
It's also on the Hallmark Channel at 10 & 11 AM, and 3 & 4 PM weekdays and some early mornings on Saturday. (according to the Hallmark Channel website) On my IO Cable it's channel 191.
I still ♥ Little House!

Re: Litte house on the Prarie Fans
I love Little House! I looked forward to wathcing it every week. But, I also love The Waltons. My favorite Little House episodes are with Laura and Almanzo. But, I also like the wolves episode, the boob episode, the gold episode, oh when Carrie fell down the hole, oh and then there was the one when Ma got really sick because she got cut by an old rusty nail, I could go on and on. Loved that show, still do.

Re: Litte house on the Prarie Fans
I'll have to look for the Hallmark channel. I have rcn cable.
Ma and Pa would never cheat on each other. Mary wasn't letting that happening.
Does anyone like the Little House A New beginning episodes. I'm not really crazy about them. The show is just not the same without the Ingalls. It's weird watching another family in that house besides the Ingalls.
And Shannon Doherty's character was like a Half Pint wanna be. Very Lame! That's where I started loosing interest in this show.

I cried when the blind school burned down.
The sylvia episode was a freaky one. With the rapist wearing that clown like mask...very freaky.

Re: Litte house on the Prarie Fans
Yeah I remember them blowing up the town except for the Ingalls home. That little house never got blown up.
I don't remember the exact reason why. Can anyone refresh my memory?

I think a developer bought Walnut Grove (the land) & was planning on using/living in the businesses & homes that were already built. It's been a while since I've seen it so it's a little fuzzy.

Re: Litte house on the Prarie Fans
Wasn't it that they were building a railroad and Walnut Grove was in the way?
Boy. You read some of these storylines and think what twisted things the put into this show!

They recently did that episode and they didn't end up blowing up the town.
No it was another reason. Something about someone wanting to take over the town. They said something like they can have our land but not our town and then they blew it all up.

Do charles and caroline come back for this one? I remember Caroline pointing a shotgun at someone during this episode.

DH and I love this show. I was just reading what tonight's episode is about since the show is on TV Land. It's about when Laura blames Dr. Baker for the death of her newborn baby boy.
When it comes to having boys this family is cursed. Caroline's baby boy died shortly after it was born. Mary's baby boy died shortly after the fire at the blind school and now Laura's baby boy. Why couldn't God let the women in this family give birth to baby boys and have them live? Geez!
I am a big Laura Ingalls Wilder fan.
In real life, Laura's mom had a boy that died. Laura had a boy that died and Rose gave birth to a boy that died too, Def something in the genes.

No, I think they blew up the church too. Didn't Rev. Alden pull the plunger on that one?

Re: Litte house on the Prarie Fans
I remember being really scared watching some of the episodes when I was a kid. In one of them, a schoolmate of Laura's dies in a drowning accident, and the schoolmate's mother becomes obsessed with Laura, getting her mixed up with the child who drowned, and so on.
There was another creepy one about the townspeople coming down with a mysterious illness, which I think ended up being caused by mold in the stored grains????

Don't know if he pulled the plunger himself but they did blow up the church/school.
They found out that someone else owned walnut grove and the people decided that the person can have the land but not the town.
The Ingalls place was spared. I remember seeing the little house in the last scene.

Does anyone know what the hallmark channel is on RCN cable. I've looked and I just don't think it's on RCN. Unless it's called something else?
