Little girl found wandering middle village at 1 am
How sad. They have no idea who her parents are. And no one has come looking for her yet! She says she is 4.

Two people went to the 104 that may have been her parents. They didn't publicize this until yesterday so maybe someone from her "school" (likely day care) will recognize her.
My MIL said that news vans have been blocking their street for 2 days.

Mystery 4-Year-Old Girl Reportedly Identified
Police may be getting closer to finding out who left a 4-year-old girl all alone on a Queens street last weekend.
Sources tell NY1 the girl, who says her name is Valerie San Pedro, has been identified. They also say police are speaking with a man named Caesar, but it’s still unclear whether the man is the girl's father.
The Administration for Children's Services says the child was found early Sunday morning in Ridgewood by a Good Samaritan. ACS officials say the girl told investigators her mother's name is Monica.
San Pedro said she was last in the company of a man named Caesar.
"I got lost when I was sleeping," said San Pedro. "He took me in the car and he took me outside with no shoes. So I was crying, and some people found me and they gave me a sweater and everything."
The little girl has been placed with a foster family until police can sort out the details.

ETS: the Ridgewood notation is incorrect, it was Middle Village that she was found. The police station (104) is in Ridgewood.

That's good news. At least she was identified. But it sounds so fishy! I hope she wasn't hurt and that she will be OK.

I heard all the updates, and they say this "ceaser" person is not talking though...
she is SOOO adorable!
eta- the news reporter asked her what her mommy looked like and she said " she looks like a princess"
