Liza's post made me MORE thankful for my job

I always knew my job was amazing but Liza's post about working from home made me realize just HOW lucky I am

I do my work, no one watches over my shoulder

If I have to come in late, leave early or work from home, it is fine as long as I get my work done.

We are all treated as professionals and are expected to act accordingly

I am just really grateful Chat Icon

You and me both! I'm very grateful to have an understanding boss who allows us to work from home if circumstances require it. So far no one has really abused that privilege, and I hope it stays that way.

You girls are incredibly lucky! I came from an office like that and when I got here it was a major culture shock.

I absolutely hate where I work. They treat us like children, constantly watching over us - it's really frustrating but there isn't much I can do about it besides look for a new job.

Unfortunately, I've been looking for a new job for over a year. Chat Icon

The funny thing is, I am very much a free bird here - no one really supervises me, which is why yesterday was weird....

Me too! I have so many perks and freedoms here that I feel bad when I DO complain about stuff.
Really puts things in perspective for me!
