Long Beach Apt Rental - WWYD

DH and I are looking to rent an apartment in Long Beach but we're limited because we have a small dog. Tonight we found a place that is $200/month over our budget but it has everything going for it - oceanfront with terrace, a duplex (one bedroom), pool, direct beach access, doorman, prime location etc etc. BUT there are some aspects of it that are a little dated and we were really hoping for a two bedroom. That said, it looks like we need to go into a house for a two bedroom and we don't want that. And while the $200 is bugging me, I am trying to rationalize it as really balancing out since there is no broker fee. So....would you go for a smaller place that had an amazing location and great amenities that was a little over your budget (but still manageable) or would you keep looking?

i'd do it..for 200 more, plus having anywhere accept animals is rare usually..it sounds nice!
