long haired cat question

Does anyone shave the long haired cat for the summer? my cat is shedding like crazy and we want to give him a buzz cut. Can anyone recommend a place?

I have a persian - I get him a lion cut

I take him to happy pet tails in bayside- but if you just want the cat shaved- you should call local groomer

is it wrong that i have a short-haired male that i want to shave now b/c those pics are so cute?

my persian does well at the groomer (I saw his card and it says he is a "good" cat- I was so happy)

he loves to be cut like a lion- I can post some cuter pics when I get home

I take him to a really nice - quiet grooming place- which helps- he is not stressed at all when he goes

he gets really hot when he has all of his fur- and he is so much more playful after he is cut
