Re: Looking for a good pasta salad recipe
I get 1 box spiral pasta (reg or tri color) tomatoes red pepper green pepper packet of good season italian dressing made in bottle
Make pasta according to directions. Put in a deep dish or bakers aluminum throw away pan dice up tomatoes (I gut the tomatoes so they arent all juicy), green and red peppers
I pour good season italian dressing (the ones you make in the glass bottle)
Mix around and put in fridge for about 2 hours or over night.
Serve cold ... DELISH and super easy

Re: Looking for a good pasta salad recipe
I make a few different ones
Bowtie pasta with Broccoli & Sundried tomatoes
Make pasta as per instructions on box. Sautee broccoli in a little olive oil & salt..don't let it get too soft tho. Chop the sundried tomatoes in halves
toss in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper & Parm cheese to taste. You can add mozzarella balls if you like -------------------------------------------- Spiral Pasta with Mixed veggies
Cook pasta ( I used tri-colored for this one) according to the directions Sautee frozen mixed veggies (which ever you like!) with olive oil and a little salt
Toss all together with salt & pepper, add black olives & top with lots of grated parm cheese
------------------------------------------------ Spiral Pasta with Tomatoes/Mozz Cheese & Olives
Cook pasta according to directions
Add chopped tomatoes or cherry tomatoes, cubed mozz cheese or the mini fresh mozz balls & black olives
I add olive oil, salt, pepper, and a drop of balsamic vinegar

Re: Looking for a good pasta salad recipe
I have an awesome on! people beg for the recipe.
Pasta cut up: red and green peppers, grape tomatoes, carrots, mozz, pepperoni(you can really add whatever you like here)
Basil Vinagrette:
Ingredients 6 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 15g basil leaves, torn 1 small garlic clove 1 shallot, finely chopped 1 tsp honey
Mix in food processor I would triple or quadruple the recipe depending on how much pasta salad you make

Re: Looking for a good pasta salad recipe
DH made the most delicious pasta salad last night.
tricolor rotini pasta (let it cool) grilled chopped peppers, onions, mushrooms (grilled in an aluminum pan placed right on the BBQ) black olives salt pepper feta cheese (added to the pasta at the same time as the hot veggies and mixed together so it melts into the pasta a little) dressing: mix together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and dijon mustard
this was the first dinner he cooked for me since we've been married and I have to say this might be the best pasta salad i've ever had... delish!!!
ETA: Now I can't wait to go home and eat some of the leftovers
