looking for a nice place for Lunch in Eastern Suffolk
I want to take my Mom to lunch somewhere different on a Saturday, somewhere on the north shore-Mt Sinai or East. I'm looking for someplace with really good food and a nice setting, maybe waterfront.
Any Suggestions?

Sound View in Mattituck? Food is good but not great but the view is fantastic!
If you want to go a little further in to Greenport, this is set on the deck and the food is very good...Scrimshaw
Porta Bella is also in Greenport and on an inlet.

I definetely agree about Soundview, was just there last week. The view is unbelievable, the food good, but not great, like the pp stated.

How about the Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow? It's not waterfront, but the food is great, and it's really nice. It's not all that far from Mt. Sinai. I'm not sure how far east you want to go.
