Looking for photo editing software
I'd like to find photo editing software but Photoshop is $$$$$ I also found it really complicated.
I would like to be able to do things like add catch lights, etc. Any suggestions or should I just shell out the money for Photoshop?

Re: Looking for photo editing software
I use a great program, its made by corel. It has a lot of the same features that photoshop has, except it has an instruction box on the left, so you select what you want to do and it explains how to do it. its great! there are a few things it doesn't do or support, but its got a lot to offer!
I use it 50% of the time and photoshop 50% of the time.

Re: Looking for photo editing software
At the Nikon classes I took recently, they were really promoting their newest software, Nikon Capture NX2 (obv. that's what they promote since it's Nikon!)
I got it for my b-day but haven't used it yet. I'm interested to see how it works.

Re: Looking for photo editing software
I'll give my typical plug for GIMP http://gimp.org/ It does essentially everything that the full version of Photoshop does, but it's 100% free. This is what I use for all my photo editing.
