Looking for suggested wording to let people know someone passed away....
My grandmother passed away this past May. She lived in my parents house and received a few holiday cards there - my mom needs to write notes to these folks and let them know she passed away. We are both at a loss for words on what to write - any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!
TIA!

How about, its this time of year we think of friends and family. Nana always loved hearing from everyone and would have been thrilled to receive your holday wishes. Sadly, she left us in May but is with us all in spirit, and we are sure she is looking down us and appreciated your warmest wishes.
We wish you a happy and healthy new year.

Re: Looking for suggested wording to let people know someone passed away....
So my aunt came up with this after reading the latest suggestion...in case anyone ever needs a suggestion also...
As we enter the New Year, we reflect upon the joys and sorrows of the one that came before. Sadly, on May 22nd, Mom passed away unexpectedly, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. On Mom's behalf, our family thanks you for your holiday wishes, as we know how much she enjoyed keeping in touch with those who touched her life.
Wishing you a peaceful New Year.
