I felt the same way week 5-7 maybe.
The only thing that appealed to me was Wonton soup and fried rice.
Literally, I had to force myself to eat.
hang in there!

Re: loss of appetite
I think that you do lose some "pickiness" about food after the first trimester, but now that I'm in the second trimester, I'm noticing that I get full really quickly. DH often asks if I've had enough to eat.
Some doctors advise having six small meals instead of three large ones -- I know that probably sounds unappealing to you now, but the idea might be useful later...

Re: loss of appetite
that is how I was from 7 weeks until like 13 weeks. My appetite started to pick back up around 14 weeks.

Re: loss of appetite
thanks all. i'm just afraid it could become a weight issue. i'm only 100 lbs now, so i really cannot afford to lose weight.
i'll keep on going with what i like. now it seems to be pepperoni pizza and smartfood.

Re: loss of appetite
yeah in the beginning definitely eat what you can, even if it is not what you think is the best diet.
The only thing I craved in the beginning was meat & sweet potato fries. Freaked me out b/c I don't eat red meat, so I was afraid to just jumo right in & have a steak. My OB told me to indulge when I can b/c the appetite could go at any minute

Re: loss of appetite
Once my morning sickness kicked in at 7 weeks, I survived on bagels.
Now that I am 17 weeks and the nausea seems to be gone, I am eating a little more diverse food, but still don't have my old appetite back. Hang in there!
